‘Vocabulary’
- Eminence (noun)
Meaning: fame or recognized superiority, especially within a particular sphere or profession. (श्रेष्ठता)
Synonyms: renown, pre-eminence, notability
Antonyms: inferiority, mediocrity, obscureness
Sentence: Beveridge was a man of great eminence.
- Proscription (noun)
Meaning: the action of forbidding something; banning. (बहिष्कार)
Synonyms: prohibition, prohibiting, forbidding
Antonyms: allowance, permission, sufferance
Sentence: The proscription against bicycles and skateboards is intended to make the plaza a more pedestrian-friendly place.
- Fissiparous (adj.)
Meaning: inclined to cause or undergo division into separate parts or groups. (विभाजित)
Synonyms: division, partition, separation
Antonyms: assemblage, association
Sentence: High-quality, fissiparous yeast can resist high temperature, it is available for summer production, and low down energy cost.
- Subservient (adj.)
Meaning: prepared to obey others unquestioningly. (अधीन)

- Fortuitous (adj.)
Meaning: happening by accident or chance rather than design. (आकस्मिक)

- Sardonic (adj.)
Meaning: grimly mocking or cynical. (तिरस्कारपूर्ण)
Synonyms: mocking, satirical, sarcastic
Antonyms: gentle, mild, good-natured
Sentence: He looked at her with sardonic amusement.
- Pretense (noun)
Meaning: an attempt to make something that is not the case appear true. (दिखावा)
Synonyms: make-believe, act, faking
Antonyms: demureness, sincerity
Sentence: I’m just astounded by you and your pretense.
- Renegade (noun)
Meaning: a person who deserts and betrays an organization, country, or set of principles. (पाखण्डी)
Synonyms: traitor, defector, deserter
Antonyms: loyalist, adherent, disciple

- Ecstatic (adj.)
Meaning: feeling or expressing overwhelming happiness or joyful excitement. (उन्मादपूर्ण)
Synonyms: enraptured, elated, transported
Antonyms: depressed, dejected, despondent
Sentence: Sally was ecstatic about her new job.
- Abstemious (adj.)
Meaning: not self-indulgent, especially when eating and drinking. (संयमी)
Synonyms: temperate, abstinent, austere
Antonyms: self-indulgent, gluttonous, greedy
Sentence: He is abstemious in life.
