Meaning: be a sign that (something) is about to happen. (सूचना देना)

Synonyms: signal, indicate, announce

Antonyms: hide, keep secret

Sentence: The speech heralded a change in policy.

  1. Debacle (noun)

Meaning: a sudden and ignominious failure; a fiasco. (पराजय)

Synonyms: fiasco, failure, catastrophe

Antonyms: success, winner

Sentence: The economic debacle that became known as the Great Depression.

  1. Perturb (verb)

Meaning: make (someone) anxious or unsettled. (घबड़ा देना)

Synonyms: anxious, trouble, nervous

Antonyms: calm, compose, quiet

Sentence: News of the arrest perturbed her greatly.

  1. Spate (noun)

Meaning: a large number of similar things or events appearing or occurring in quick succession. (झोंक)

Synonyms: series, succession

Antonyms: little, mite, bit

Meaning: clothing or dress, especially of a distinctive or special kind. (पोशाक)

Synonyms: clothes, clothing, garments

  1. Intricate (adj.)

Meaning: very complicated or detailed. (जटिल)

Synonyms: complex, complicated, convoluted

Antonyms: plain, simple, uncomplicated

Sentence: Police officers uncovered an intricate web of deceit.

  1. Propitious (adj.)

Meaning: giving or indicating a good chance of success; favorable. (अनुकूल)

Synonyms: favorable, auspicious, promising

Antonyms: bleak, unlikely, unpropitious

Sentence: It was not a propitious time to start a new business.

  1. Deem (verb)

Meaning: regard or consider in a specified way. (समझना)

Synonyms: regard as, consider, judge

Antonyms: distrust, doubt, mistrust

Sentence: I deem it advisable to buy property now.

  1. Unequaled (adj.)

Meaning: superior to all others in performance or extent. (अप्रतिम)

Synonyms: unbeaten, unmatched, matchless

Antonyms: inferior, lesser, common

Sentence: His power as a popular street-corner orator was probably unequaled in that generation

  1. Relinquished (verb)

Meaning: voluntarily cease to keep or claim; give up. (त्याग कर दिया)

Synonyms: renounce, give up, part with

Antonyms: kept, retained, withheld

Sentence: He relinquished his managerial role to become chief executive.
