Directions (1-5): Study the following information and answer the questions given below:

Eight boxes B, C, H, P, R, N, T, X are placed one above another. Also each of them is of different color Red, Purple, Black, Violet, Blue, Orange, Green, White. Box B is of Orange color. And two boxes are placed between B and P. Box P is placed immediately above the White box. Three boxes are placed in between Box X and H. Box X is placed above box H. Only two boxes are placed between box X and B. Only one box is placed in between White and Blue box. Violet box is placed immediately above Purple box. X is not of Violet color. Three boxes are placed between box C and N. Box C is not of Blue color. More than one box is placed in between box X and R. Red box is not placed immediate above and immediate below to Blue box. Box H is not of Black color.

Sol. Step I: Three boxes are placed in between Box X and H. Box X is placed above box H. Only two boxes are placed between box X and B. Box B is of Orange color. From this there can be two possible cases for box B. As it can be above or below box X.
