Exp.Mexico has ratified the US-Mexico-Canada agreement. This makes it the first country to give the new North American trade deal final approval despite recent tensions with the US. The deal aims to replace the North American Free Trade Agreement (NAFTA). The US and Canada have yet to ratify the deal.

The Capacity Building Programs on Electoral technology is the 7th program in the series of the 09 programs scheduled across 2018-2019. Through efficient and scientific management of elections and electoral rolls, the Election Commission of India (ECI) has played a key role in strengthening the Indian democracy. Inspired by its vision on the philosophy of democracy as well as on the multifarious aspects of democratic ethos and operations, including most importantly, efficient and flawless delivery of free and fair elections, the ECI established the India International Institute of Democracy and Election Management (IIIDEM) in June 2011.

Exp. A Standing Group of Secretaries (GoS) has been constituted on e-Commerce by Ministry of Commerce and Industry. GoS under the Chairmanship of Secretary, Department for Promotion of Industry and Internal Trade (DPIIT) is constituted to ensure inter-ministerial/inter-departmental coordination on resolving issues, cutting across Ministries and Departments of Government of India in e-Commerce. Exp. According to Department for Promotion of Industry and Internal Trade, Fund of Funds for Startups have provided financial support to 249 startups in last 3 years. The DPIIT is the monitoring agency and Small Industries Development Bank of India is the operating agency for FFS. FFS contributes to the corpus of SEBI registered Alternative Investment Funds (AIFs). These AIFs in turn have to invest at least twice the contribution under FFS in startups.
