Wholesale price-based inflation (WPI) has eased to 12.41 percent in August 2022 as compared to 13.93 percent in July 2022.
According to the Commerce and Industry Ministry data released WPI inflation fell on easing prices of manufactured products.
Wholesale inflation was at a record high of 15.88 percent in May 2022 and stood at 11.64 percent in August 2021.
