Around 8.5 lakh migrants returned to their home state, Jharkhand, during the COVID crisis. To help these migrants with a good livelihood, the State Government of Jharkhand started the State and Responsible Migration Initiative in 2021.
To achieve this, the Jharkhand Government recently launched the first survey of Migrants. Jharkhand is not the only state to launch such states. Several other states like Tamil Nadu and Punjab had already launched such surveys.
The survey is to be conducted of 11,000 households in 24 districts.
The purpose of it is to create a robust database of migrants and migration pattern in the state.
The survey outputs will be used to create a state-level policy

The foreign ministers of Brazil, Russia, India, and China met for the first time on the sidelines of the United Nations General Assembly in 2006, kicking off BRIC cooperation. Later in April 2011, South Africa participated, for the first time, in the 3rd BRICS Summit held in Sanya, China.
Earlier in 2013, the fifth annual BRICS summit was held in Durban, South Africa. It was attended by the head of state or heads of government of the five member states Brazil, Russia, India, China and South Africa.

The Nidhi Aapke Nikat 2.0 will not only be the grievance redressal platform and information exchange network for employers and employees but also a platform for the exchange of information with the district-level authorities of various State and Central Government departments.
In this programme, a help desk will be created where members will get online services like filing online claims. Grievance redressal of the members will be done on the spot.
The aim of the programme is to reach out to all the districts in the country on the same day every month. The Nidhi Aapke Nikat 2.0 will be conducted on the 27th of every month.

Germany has won the Men’s Hockey World Cup Title 2023.
Germany defeated defending champions Belgium 5-4 in a shootout in the final played at the Kalinga Stadium in Bhubaneswar.
Germany now has won the World Cup three times, first in 2002 and second in 2006.
Germany had earlier won the quarter-finals against England and the semi-finals against Australia after coming from two goals down.
