Promotion to Administrative Officer (Scale-I) – 2026 Promotion Exercise
Applications are invited from eligible employees for promotion to Administrative Officer (Scale-I) under the Promotion Policy 2008.
Eligibility (Departmental Channel – Para 13.1)
Eligible employees include:
- Senior Assistants and Stenographers with 7 years service, OR
- Senior Assistants and Stenographers with minimum 5 years service plus additional qualification/criteria.
Selection Process (Para 13.2)
Selection will be based on:
- Seniority
- Qualification
- Work Record
- Interview
- Competitive Examination
Important points:
- Competitive exam marks will be weighted at 0.175 per mark, maximum 35 marks.
- Candidates need:
- 120/200 marks (General)
- 100/200 marks (SC/ST)
to qualify for ranking.
