RRB has postponed the examination date of Railway ALP 2nd Stage. RRBs have also received representations requesting postponement of 2nd Stage CBT on account of clashing of dates with the 1st Stage CBT for RPF SI and/or academic examinations exam. The date for 2nd Stage CBT has been rescheduled from 10th of February 2019 earlier it was scheduled from 20th to 23rd January 2019. With this post, we are also facilitating you with the Check Trade Syllabus link below to provide particular trades syllabus for Part B of RRB ALP Stage 2 Exam 2018 which will help you to be ensure about the Relevant trade you are going to opt for.
First stage Computer Based Test (CBT): It was held from 9th Aug to 4th Sept 2018
Total duration of Second Stage CBT: 2 hours and 30 minutes (Part ‘A’ and Part ‘B’ together).
Selection process:
For the post of ALP (Assistant Loco Pilot):-
- First stage CBT
- Second Stage CBT)
- Computer Based Aptitude Test (AT).
- Document Verification and Empanelling of Candidates
For the post of Technician:
- First stage CBT
- Second Stage CBT)
- Document Verification and Empanelling of Candidates
Note:Marks will be normalized in all the stages of exam.

- Minimum percentage of marks for eligibility in various categories : UR -40%, OBC-30%, SC-30%, ST -25%.
- It will consist of multiple-choice objective type questions [bilingual (Hindi/English)]
- Negative Marking: For every wrong answer 1/3 marks will be deducted.
Stage -2 Part B
This part is qualifying in nature.
