Jaishankar: U.S. Once Asked India to Buy Russian Oil
- External Affairs Minister S. Jaishankar said in Moscow that the U.S. had earlier asked India to buy Russian oil in order to keep global energy prices stable. That is why, he said, Washington’s current criticism of India’s oil imports from Russia is confusing.

- Originally, the launch was scheduled for June 11. But during tests, ISRO engineers spotted the oxygen leak, which led to a big disagreement with SpaceX.
- Narayanan explained that SpaceX at first only shared limited information—answering just 2 out of 14 questions ISRO had asked about the leak. SpaceX considered the leak to be minor since it was indicated by a regular oxygen sensor rather than a dedicated leak detector, but ISRO firmly disagreed.
