- According to the Ministry of Environment, Forests and Climate Change, representatives from 95 countries are expected to attend the summit.
- The IBCA is a group of countries that have at least one of the seven big cats — lions, tigers, leopards, snow leopards, cheetahs, jaguars, and pumas — and are committed to protecting them.
- At present, the alliance has 24 member countries and three observer countries.
- Member countries are expected to work together on programmes related to improving forests, prey animals, and the safety of big cats.
