- Straggling (verb)
Meaning: move along slowly, typically in a small irregular group, so as to remain some distance behind the person or people in front. (पिछड़ गया)

Meaning: spread (something, especially information) widely. (प्रसार)

- Squeamish (adj.)
Meaning: (of a person) easily made to feel sick, faint, or disgusted, especially by unpleasant images, such as the sight of blood. (नकचढ़ा)

Antonyms: settled, healthy, well
Sentence: She’s really squeamish and can’t stand the sight of blood.

Meaning: hostile and aggressive. (युद्धरत)

- Portend (verb)
Meaning: be a sign or warning that (something, especially something momentous or calamitous) is likely to happen. (संकेत मिलता)
Synonyms: presage, augur, foreshadow
Antonyms: describe, narrate, recite
Sentence: The change did not portend a basic improvement in social conditions.
