- Adduced (verb)
Meaning: cite as evidence. (प्रस्तुत करना)
Synonyms: cite, instance, mention
Sentence: We can adduce evidence to support the claim.
- Eminence (noun)
Meaning: fame or recognized superiority, especially within a particular sphere or profession. (श्रेष्ठता)
Synonyms: renown, pre-eminence, notability
Antonyms: inferiority, mediocrity, obscureness
Sentence: Beveridge was a man of great eminence.
- Faltering (adj.)
Meaning: losing strength or momentum. (दुर्बलता)
Synonyms: delay, hawing, procrastination
Antonyms: certainty, certitude, confidence
Sentence: The economy is showing signs of faltering.
- Confrontation (noun)
Meaning: a hostile or argumentative meeting or situation between opposing parties. (आमना-सामना)
Synonyms: conflict, clash, brush
Antonyms: concord, harmony, peace

- Crumbs (noun)
Meaning: a very small amount of something. (टुकड़ा)

Meaning: run hurriedly or furtively with short quick steps. (भागना)

- Umbrage (noun)
Meaning: offense or annoyance. (अपमान)
Synonyms: take offense, be offended, be affronted

- Fomented (verb)
Meaning: instigate or stir up (an undesirable or violent sentiment or course of action). (भड़काना)

- Armistice (noun)
Meaning: an agreement made by opposing sides in a war to stop fighting for a certain time; a truce. (युद्धविराम)

days.
