  1. Abandon (Noun) – Trick: Ban + Don

Meaning: To leave somebody / to stop doing something (छोड़ देना)

Antonyms: Abstain, Eschew, Forgo

  1. Adverse (Adj.) – Trick: Add vs.

Meaning: Preventing success or development (विपरीत)

Synonyms: Harmful, Unfavourable

Antonyms: Beneficial, Useful, Innocuous

Sentence: Dirt and disease are adverse to the best growth of children.

  1. Baccalaureate (Noun) – Trick: Bachelor + Laureate

Meaning: An examination intended to qualify a successful candidate for higher education (स्नातक की उपाधि)

Sentence: Several schools in the world already teach the baccalaureate syllabus

  1. Realm (Noun) – Trick: Alm = King

Meaning: A kingdom, a domain of activity (क्षेत्र)

Synonyms: area, business, circle

Antonyms: outside, Democracy, Federation

Sentence: The king banished the traitor from the realm.

  1. Surge (Noun) – Trick: Sudden Urge

Meaning: A sudden powerful upward movement/ increase (महोर्मि)

Synonyms: Rush, Inflate, Burst, Cascade

Antonyms: Deflate, Reserved, Ebbtide

  1. Coagulation (Noun)

Meaning: The action or process of a liquid changing to a solid or semi-solid state. (जमावट)

Synonyms: Concentration, Condensation, Clotting

Antonyms: Dispersal, Separation, Dissolution

Sentence: Blood becomes stickier to help coagulation in case of a cut.
