  1. Grating (adj.)

Meaning: sounding harsh and unpleasant. (कर्कश)

Synonyms: croaking, croaky, gravel

Antonyms: gentle, gliding, melodious

  1. Fecund (adj.)

Meaning: producing abundantly (फलप्रद)

Synonyms: fertile, fructuous, fruitful

Antonyms: infertile, sterile, unproductive

  1. Foment (verb)

Meaning: instigate or stir up (an undesirable or violent sentiment or course of action). (भड़काना)

Synonyms: instigate, incite, provoke

Meaning: lacking a plan, purpose, or enthusiasm. (अनियमित)

Meaning: the occurrence and development of events by chance in a happy or beneficial way. (नसीब)

Synonyms: luck, good fortune, chance,

Antonyms: mischance, misfortune, unluckiness

  1. Enraptured (verb)

Meaning: give intense pleasure or joy to. (मंत्रमुग्ध)

Synonyms: delight, please greatly, charm

Antonyms: depressed, distressed, oppressed

Sentence: The audience was enraptured by her beautiful voice.

  1. Portend (verb)

Meaning: be a sign or warning that (something, especially something momentous or calamitous) is likely to happen. (संकेत मिलता)

Synonyms: presage, augur, foreshadow

Antonyms: describe, narrate, recite

Sentence: The change did not portend a basic improvement in social conditions.

  1. Circumvent (verb)

Meaning: find a way around (an obstacle). (गतिरोध उत्पन्न)

Synonyms: avoid, get around, find a way around

Antonyms: confront, face, meet

Sentence: If you come to an obstruction in a road you can seek to circumvent it.

  1. Pillaging (verb)

Meaning: rob a (place) using violence, especially in wartime. (लूटने)

Synonyms: despoiling, looting, marauding

Sentence: The rebels went shooting and pillaging.
