  1. Yesteryear (noun)

Meaning: the events or experience of former times (अतीत)

Synonyms: past, history

Antonyms: future, tomorrow

Sentence: The magnificent big boats of yesteryear have virtually vanished.

  1. Sumptuous (adj.)

Meaning: splendid and expensive-looking. (वैभवशाली)

Synonyms: lavish, luxurious, deluxe

Antonyms: humble, austere, ascetic

Sentence: The interior is decorated in sumptuous reds and golds.

  1. Restive (adj.)

Meaning: (of a person) unable to keep still or silent and becoming increasingly difficult to control, especially because of impatience, dissatisfaction, or boredom. (अशांत)

Synonyms: rebellious, defiant, stubborn

Antonyms: docile, obedient, submissive

Sentence: The crowd was growing increasingly restive.

  1. Galumph (verb)

Meaning: to move heavily or clumsily

Synonyms: stomp, stumble

Sentence: She galumphed along beside him.

  1. Desultory (adj.)

Meaning: lacking a plan, purpose, or enthusiasm. (बेतरतीब)

Synonyms: random, scattered, arbitrary

Antonyms: systematic, regular, methodical

Sentence: They talked briefly in a desultory manner.

  1. Procrastinate (verb)

Meaning: delay or postpone action; put off doing something. (विलंब करना)

Synonyms: delay, postpone

Antonyms: timely

Sentence: He procrastinates until it is too late to do anything at all.

  1. Exemplary (adj.)

Meaning: serving as a desirable model; representing the best of its kind. (अनुकरणीय)

Synonyms: perfect, ideal, excellent

Antonyms: unsatisfactory, bad, substandard

Sentence: His citation says he showed outstanding and exemplary courage.

  1. Tantalize (verb)

Meaning: to cause (someone) to feel interest or excitement about something that is very attractive, appealing, etc. (उत्तेजित)

Synonyms: intrigue, excite, thrill

Antonyms: bore, weary, pall

Sentence: She was tantalized by the possibility of earning a lot of money quickly.

  1. Logy (adj.)

Meaning: depleted in strength, energy, or freshness (थका हुआ)

Synonyms: tired, exhausted, weary

Antonyms: fresh, relaxed, active

Sentence: The next morning, I was feeling logy, having stayed up half the night.

  1. Panacea (noun)

Meaning: a solution or remedy for all difficulties or diseases. (रामबाण)

Synonyms: remedy, cure

Sentence: Technology is not a panacea for all our problems.
