‘Vocabulary’
- Boulder (noun)
Meaning: a large rock, typically one that has been worn smooth by erosion. (कंकर)
Synonyms: rock, stone, gibber
Sentence: He sat down on a boulder.
- Antagonism (noun)
Meaning: active hostility or opposition. (विरोध)
Synonyms: hostility, friction, enmity
Antonyms: friendship, goodwill, amity
Sentence: The antagonism between them.
- Appease (verb)
Meaning: pacify or placate (someone) by acceding to their demands. (तुष्ट करना)
Synonyms: conciliate, placate, pacify
Antonyms: anger, enrage, incense
Sentence: Amendments have been added to appease local pressure groups.
- Unenviable (adj.)
Meaning: difficult, undesirable, or unpleasant. (अवांछनीय)
Synonyms: disagreeable, unpleasant, undesirable
Antonyms: charming, enchanting, fascinating
Sentence: Cooper had the unenviable job of announcing the redundancies.
- Delimitation (noun)
Meaning: the action of fixing the boundary or limits of something. (हदबंदी)
Synonyms: custody, detention, incarceration
Antonyms: freedom, liberation, liberty
Sentence: The main focus was the delimitation of responsibilities between the police and the judiciary.
- Erudite (adj.)
Meaning: having or showing great knowledge or learning. (वैज्ञानिक)
Synonyms: learned, scholarly, well educated
Antonyms: illiterate, uneducated, unlearned
Sentence: He could turn any conversation into an erudite discussion.
- Tedious (adj.)
Meaning: too long, slow, or dull; tiresome or monotonous. (थकानेवाला)

- Perversity (noun)
Meaning: a deliberate desire to behave in an unreasonable or unacceptable way; contrariness. (प्रतिकूलता)

- Veracity (noun)
Meaning: conformity to facts; accuracy. (सच्चाई)
Synonyms: truthfulness, truth, accuracy
Antonyms: deceit, dishonesty, lying
Sentence: Officials expressed doubts concerning the veracity of the story.
- Moiety (noun)
Meaning: each of two parts into which a thing is or can be divided. (आधा भाग)
Synonyms: half, moiety, part
Antonyms: entirety, whole, full
Sentence: The tax was to be delivered in two moieties.
