‘Vocabulary’
- Inculcate (verb)
Meaning: instill (an attitude, idea, or habit) by persistent instruction. (मन में बैठाना)
Synonyms: instill, implant, imbue
Antonyms: deprive, clear, empty
Sentence: Not all schools manage to successfully inculcate a love of learning.
- Inimical (adj.)
Meaning: tending to obstruct or harm. (विरोधी)
Synonyms: adversarial, adversary, antagonistic
Antonyms: friendly, hospitable, nonantagonistic
Sentence: These policies are inimical to the interests of society.
- Accretion (noun)
Meaning: the process of growth or increase, typically by the gradual accumulation of additional layers or matter. (एक साथ वृद्धि)

Antonyms: abatement, decline, decrease
Sentence: The fund was increased by the accretion of new shareholders.
- Piddling (adj.)
Meaning: pathetically trivial; trifling. (तुच्छ)

- Geniality (adj.)
Meaning: the quality of having a friendly and cheerful manner. (नेकी)
Synonyms: friendliness, affability, cordiality
Antonyms: impoliteness, incivility, rudeness
Sentence: His geniality, reliability, and ability made him a popular figure.
- Horrendous (adj.)
Meaning: extremely unpleasant, horrifying, or terrible. (खराब)
Synonyms: direful, dreadful, fearful
Antonyms: calming, comforting, consoling
Sentence: He described it as the most horrendous experience of his life.
- Immured (verb)
Meaning: enclose or confine (someone) against their will. (क़ैद करना)
Synonyms: caged, imprisoned, enclosed
Antonyms: free, loose, unbound
Sentence: He was immured in a dark room.
- Bicker (verb)
Meaning: argue about petty and trivial matters. (झगड़ना)
Synonyms: squabble, argue, quarrel
Antonyms: accept, agree, assent
Sentence: I wish you two would stop bickering.
- Deportation (noun)
Meaning: the action of deporting a foreigner from a country. (निर्वासन)
Synonyms: expulsion, expelling, banishment
Antonyms: repatriation, return, immigration
Sentence: Several asylum seekers now face deportation.
- Rubric (noun)
Meaning: a word or series of words often in larger letters placed at the beginning of a passage or at the top of a page in order to introduce or categorize (शीर्ष)
Synonyms: caption, head, header
Sentence: The rubrics at the beginning of the chapters are intended to be humorous.
