  1. Facile (adj.)

Meaning: having or showing a lack of depth of understanding or character

Synonyms: superficial, shallow

Antonyms: profound, general

Sentence: The movie takes a facile look at what happens when teens enter into serious romantic relationships.

  1. Quibble (noun)

Meaning: to make often peevish criticisms or objections about matters that are minor, unimportant, or irrelevant (निंदा)

Synonyms: complain, criticize, argue

Antonyms: applaud, commend, praise

Sentence: Let’s not quibble over minor details.

  1. Dissociate (verb)

Meaning: disconnect or separate (used especially in abstract contexts). (अलग कर देना)

Synonyms: divide, separate, sever

Antonyms: join, unite, combine

Sentence: It is getting harder for him to dissociate himself from the scandal.

  1. Largesse (noun)

Meaning: generosity in bestowing money or gifts upon others. (उदारता)

Synonyms: generosity, munificence, kindness

Antonyms: selfishness, cheapness

  1. Brouhaha (noun)

Meaning: a noisy and overexcited reaction or response to something. (शोरगुल)

Synonyms: disturbance, ruckus, bustle

Antonyms: peace, quiet, tranquillity

Sentence: A brouhaha erupted over her statements about the president.

  1. Adjudicate (verb)

Meaning: make a formal judgment or decision about a problem or disputed matter. (निर्णय करना)

Synonyms: decide, adjudge, determine

Antonyms: equivocate

Sentence: Their purpose is to adjudicate disputes between employers and employees.

  1. Winsome (adj.)

Meaning: attractive or appealing in appearance or character. (मनोहर)

Synonyms: appealing, engaging, charming

Antonyms: sulky, sullen, dull

Sentence: In her new movie, the actress again displays the winsome charm that has made her an audience favourite.

  1. Thumping (adv.)

Meaning: impressively large, great, or excellent. (बहुत)

Synonyms: extremely, very, perfectly

Antonyms: little, slightly, nominally

  1. Spiteful (adj.)

Meaning: showing or caused by malice. (द्वेषपूर्ण)

Synonyms: malicious, cruel, unkind

Antonyms: benevolent, benign, benignant

Sentence: He made some very spiteful remarks to me.

  1. Quotidian (adj.)

Meaning: of or occurring every day; daily. (दैनिक)

Synonyms: daily, day-to-day, diurnal

Antonyms: monthly, weekly, yearly

Sentence: Television has become part of our quotidian existence.
