  1. Disparaging (Adj.) – Trick: Dis + Para is ajeeb

Meaning: Expressive of low opinion (उपेक्षा करनेवाला)

Synonyms: Belittling, Contemptuous, Decrying

Antonyms: Commendatory, Complimentary, Laudatory

Sentence: She made some disparaging remarks about the neighbours.

  1. Substantive (adj)

Meaning: Involving matters of major importance/ Considerable in amount (मूल)

Synonyms: Considerable, Healthy, Major, Significant

Antonyms: Insignificant, Nominal, negligible

Sentence: Substantive research on the subject needs to be carried out.

  1. Abridge (Verb) – Trick: A + Bridge

Meaning: Shortened or condensed especially by the omission of words (संक्षेप करना)

Synonyms: Abbreviate, crucial, Truncate

Antonyms: Enlarge, Expand, Supplement

  1. Insidious (Adj.) – Trick: Inside + Hideous

Meaning: Being a part of the innermost nature of a person or thing (दीर्घस्थायी)

Synonyms: Built-in, Rooted, Essential, Immanent

Antonyms: Alien, foreign, accidental

Sentence: The oil had become ingrained in his skin.

  1. Rearing (Verb)

Meaning: To look after & educate children पालन ​​- पोषण

Synonyms: Breeding, Fostering, Nourishing

Antonyms: Abusing, Maltreating, Mishandling

  1. Merely (Adverb) – Trick: Bas Mar le

Meaning: Noting more than (केवल)

  1. Redress (Noun) – Trick: Relief from Stress

Meaning: To correct something that is wrong or unfair or payment for it.

Synonyms: Compensation, Indemnity, Reparation

Antonyms: Absolve, Pardon

Sentence: You must seek redress in the law court.
