‘Vocabulary’
- Beset (verb)
Meaning: be covered or studded with (घेर लेना)
Synonyms: attack, harass, bother
Antonyms: defend, cover, protect
Sentence: Our troops were beset by enemy fire.
- Botched (adj.)
Meaning: carried out badly or carelessly. (असफल)
Synonyms: awkward, inexpert, clumsy
Antonyms: adroit, deft, dexterous
Sentence: a botched attempt to steal a car
- Evince (verb)
Meaning: reveal the presence of (a quality or feeling). (जताना)
Synonyms: reveal, show, make clear
Antonyms: conceal, cover, hide
Sentence: His letters evince the excitement he felt at undertaking this journey.
- Entrant (noun)
Meaning: a person or group that enters, joins, or takes part in something. (शामिल होनेवाला)
Synonyms: beginner, newcomer, fresher
Antonyms: dropout, noncandidate

- Disposition (noun)
Meaning: a person’s inherent qualities of mind and character. (स्वभाव)
Synonyms: nature, character, mentality
Sentence: Your sunny disposition has a way of rubbing off on those around you.
- Unfathomable (adj.)
Meaning: incapable of being fully explored or understood. (अपरिमेय)
Synonyms: inscrutable, incomprehensible, enigmatic
Antonyms: fathomable, intelligible, understandable
Sentence: His glance at her was unfathomable.
- Zeal (noun)
Meaning: great energy or enthusiasm in pursuit of a cause or an objective. (उत्साह)
Synonyms: passion, zealousness, ardor
Antonyms: laziness, lethargy, listlessness
Sentence: Zeal without knowledge is fire without light.
- Caviling (verb)
Meaning: make petty or unnecessary objections. (गुस्ताखी करना)

- Bluster (noun)
Meaning: talk in a loud, aggressive, or indignant way with little effect. (धमकी)

- Desist (verb)
Meaning: cease; abstain. (बंद कर देना)
Synonyms: abstain, refrain, forbear
Antonyms: actualize, appear, start
Sentence: The shopping center agreed to desist from false advertising.
