- Pillory (verb)
Meaning: to subject (someone) to harsh public criticism (निंदा करना)
Synonyms: blame, criticize, scold
Antonyms: endorse, approve, commend
Sentence: The press pilloried the judge for his decision.
- Contemporaneous (adj.)
Meaning: existing or occurring in the same period of time. (समसामयिक)
Synonyms: coetaneous, coeval, coexistent
Antonyms: asynchronous, noncontemporary

Meaning: as in burden (बोझ)
Synonyms: burden, hindrance, obstruction

Meaning: to inflict a penalty on for a fault or crime (दंड देना)
Synonyms: punish, chastise, penalize
Antonyms: spare, excuse, pardon
Sentence: He has been chastened by all kinds of experiences in life.
- Cognoscente (noun)
Meaning: a connoisseur; a discerning expert. (विशेषज्ञ)
Synonyms: scholar, connoisseur, maestro
Antonyms: novice, amateur, neophyte
Sentence: He is a cognoscenti of medieval painting.
- Nay (noun)
Meaning: a negative answer or vote. (अस्वीकार)
Synonyms: denial, refusal, negation
Antonyms: yes, positive, approval
Sentence: The daily work continued; nay, it actually increased.
- Covetous (adj.)
Meaning: having or showing a great desire to possess something belonging to someone else. (लालची)
Synonyms: grasping, greedy, rapacious
Antonyms: generous, handsome, magnanimous
Sentence: A covetous man is good to none but worse to himself.
- Littorals (noun)
Meaning: a region lying along a shore. (समुद्र तट)
Synonyms: coastlands, seaside, banks
Sentence: The tea plant thrives and is being planted relatively rapidly on the Black Sea littoral in Transcaucasia
