World Digital Competitiveness Index 2023: India Ranks 49th

The International Institute for Management Development (IMD) has released the World Digital Competitiveness Index 2023 to measure the ranking of countries across the world in the field of digital environment.

India Ranks 49th in world digital competitiveness index 2023 and this index is topped by the United States of America. USA has reclaimed its top position as the Digital nation. The USA is actively contributing to the digital landscape not only across the country itself but also across the world. The development and encouragement of new technologies including AI, cybersecurity, future readiness and other factors related to the digital landscape.

According to the The International Institute for Management Development (IMD) , India is doing good in the field of digital landscape especially in cybersecurity but other factors like new technologies and future readiness are still struggling in the country. IMD gave India 49th rank among 64 countries on the basis of the justification of these above said terms.

Netherlands and Singapore secured 2nd and 3rd ranking in the World Digital Competitiveness Index 2023 unveiled by The International Institute for Management Development (IMD).

India has been progressively integrating digital technologies into various sectors, including finance, education, healthcare, and governance. Initiatives like Digital India have aimed to bridge the digital divide and promote a digitally empowered society. The success of such efforts impacted India’s position on the digital competitiveness index.
