IBPS PO 2022 Exam Pattern and Syllabus:
IBPS released a new exam pattern for IBPS PO Exam. The exam pattern will be similar for IBPS PO 2022 as well. There is separate sectional timing for each sections in preliminary exam. IBPS PO 2022 Exam will be conducted in three phases: Preliminary Exam, Mains Exam and Interview Process. It is mandatory for a candidate to clear each level of examination to get selected to the post of Probationary Officer in multiple Public Sector Banks.
IBPS PO 2022 Exam Pattern
IBPS PO 2022 Exam will be conducted in 3 phases. There is separate sectional timing for each sections in exam. The written exam is – Prelims & Mains which are conducted online, followed by an interview round. The structure of exams is as follows:
Stage-1: IBPS PO Preliminary Examination:
This is an online exam where candidates have to solve the question paper in 1 hour for 100 marks. 0.25 marks will be deducted for every question attempted wrong by a candidate. The test comprises of 3 sections. The section-wise distribution of the marks & sectional timing of 20 minutes to each section is given below:

Stage-2: IBPS PO Mains Exam:
This test has 155 questions that have to be answered in 3 hours. 0.25 marks will be deducted for every question attempted wrong by a candidate. The paper is divided into 4 sections – Reasoning & Computer Aptitude, Data Analysis & Interpretation, General/ Economy/ Banking Awareness and English Language. IBPS also introduced Descriptive Paper in its Mains Examination to Write essay and a letter in 30 minutes with constitute of 25 marks.

Stage-3: Interview Process:
Candidates called for Interview after qualify the mains exam. Interview Process has 100 marks and the minimum marks for qualifying will be 40% & 35% for SC/ST/OBC/PWD categories.
IBPS PO 2022 Exam Syllabus
The syllabus for IBPS PO preliminary exam and mains exam is different . IBPS PO Mains exam has 2 additional sections to be prepared – Computer Aptitude and General Awareness apart from the basic three sections of Quants, Reasoning & English Language having in preliminary exam.
