- Gleaned (verb)
Meaning: extract (information) from various sources. (से प्राप्त)
Synonyms: obtain, get, take
Sentence: What do you glean from the news?
- Surreal (adj.)
Meaning: having the qualities of surrealism; bizarre. (असली)
Synonyms: unreal, bizarre, unusual
Antonyms: certain, sure, true
Sentence: The whole situation was completely surreal.
- Idyllic (adj.)
Meaning: (especially of a time or place) like an idyll; extremely happy, peaceful, or picturesque. (सुखद जीवन का)
Synonyms: perfect, ideal, idealized
Antonyms: imperfect, amiss, flawed
Sentence: It appears to be an idyllic domestic setup.
- Shrug (verb)
Meaning: raise (one’s shoulders) slightly and momentarily to express doubt, ignorance, or indifference. (कंधे उचकाने की क्रिया)
Sentence: “I suppose so,” said Anna with a shrug.
- Inquiringly (adv.)
Meaning: to search through or into (जाँचते)
Synonyms: examine, inspect, study
Sentence: Victor looked at her inquiringly.
- Mushy (adj.)
Meaning: excessively sentimental. (भावुक)
Synonyms: sentimental, mawkish, emotional
Antonyms: unsentimental, hard-edged
Sentence: Don’t go getting all mushy and sentimental.
- Impinging (verb)
Meaning: have an effect or impact, especially a negative one. (प्रभाव पडना)
Synonyms: banging, bashing, bumping
Antonyms: missing, skirting

- Inducement (noun)
Meaning: a thing that persuades or influences someone to do something. (प्रलोभन)
Synonyms: incentive, attraction, encouragement
Sentence: The higher payments were offered as an inducement.
- De facto (adj.)
Meaning: denoting someone or something that is such in fact. (वास्तव में)
Synonyms: actual, existing, existent
Antonyms: conjectural, hypothetical, nonexistent
Sentence: The island has been de facto divided into two countries.
- Irretrievably (adv.)
Meaning: in a way that cannot be retrieved or put right. (अपूर्य)
Synonyms: incorrigible, incurable, irrecoverable
Antonyms: curable, reversible, recoverable
Sentence: Some of our old traditions are irretrievably lost.
