  1. Sprawling (verb)

Meaning: spreading out over a large area untidy or irregularly. (फैलाना)

Synonyms: radiating, extending, splaying

Antonyms: limiting, restricting, contracting

Sentence: There were weeds sprawling in the yard.

  1. Parley (noun)

Meaning: a conference between opposing sides in a dispute, especially a discussion of terms for an armistice. (बातचीत)

Synonyms: negotiation, talk, meet

Sentence: The governor was forced to parley with the rebels.

  1. Mercurial (adj.)

Meaning: (of a person) subject to sudden or unpredictable changes of mood or mind. (अस्थिर)

Synonyms: volatile, capricious, temperamental

Antonyms: certain, changeless, constant

  1. Contemplate (verb)

Meaning: look thoughtfully for a long time. (मनन)

Synonyms: look at, view, regard

Antonyms: disregard, ignore, overlook

Sentence: He sat on the carpet contemplating his image in the mirrors.

  1. Seamless (adj.)

Meaning: being entire without fault or flaw (निरपराध)

Synonyms: absolute, faultless, flawless

Antonyms: censurable, defective, faulty

Sentence: The conductor’s seamless interpretation of Mozart’s Jupiter symphony was greeted with a standing ovation.

  1. Pruned (verb)

Meaning: to make (something) shorter or smaller with the use of a cutting instrument (कम कर दिए हैं)

Synonyms: bobbed, clipped, cropped

Antonyms: elongated, extended, lengthened

Sentence: He pruned the dead branches from the old apple tree.

  1. Wheedled (verb)

Meaning: use flattery or coaxing in order to persuade someone to do something or give one something. (चापलूसी)

Meaning: an abundance or large quantity of something. (प्रचुरता)

Synonyms: abundance, lot, mass

Antonyms: bit, deficit, lack

Sentence: Roses grew in profusion against the old wall.

  1. Purveyor (noun)

Meaning: a person who sells or deals in particular goods. (भंडारी)

Synonyms: seller, vendor, trader

Sentence: Petrossian Inc. is the world’s largest purveyor of caviar.
