  1. Adverse (Adj.) – Trick: versus

Meaning: Contrary to your interest or welfare (विपरीत)

Synonyms: Hostile, Counter, Unfavourable

Antonyms: Favourable, Beneficial

Sentence: The tournament has been postponed due to adverse COVID effect.

  1. Buoyant (Adj.) – Trick: Buy + want

Meaning: Cheerful & Optimistic (प्रसन्नचित्त)

Synonyms: Cheerful, Happy, Sanguine

Antonyms: Lethargic, Sluggish, Torpid

Sentence: Demand for the product is buoyant.

  1. Optimistic (adj.) – Trick: Opt + Mist

Meaning: Expecting good things to happen (आशावादी)

Synonyms: Auspicious, Bright, Cheering

Meaning: Something that holds the promise of Hope (आशा की किरण)

  1. Prehensible (adj.) – Trick: Pre + Hens + Ile

Meaning: Capable of being seized (बोधगम्य)

Synonyms: Grabby, Covetous, Avaricious

Antonyms: Stupid, Unintelligent
