‘Vocabulary’
- Defied (verb)
Meaning: openly resist or refuse to obey. (अवहेलना करना)
Synonyms: resist, withstand, confront
Antonyms: complied (with), conformed (to), followed
Sentence: I wouldn’t have dared to defy my teachers.
- Abysmal (adj.)
Meaning: extremely bad; appalling. (बहुत बुरा)
Synonyms: very bad, dreadful, awful
Antonyms: cheering, comforting, soothing
Sentence: The film was so abysmal that I fell asleep.
- Dismay (noun)
Meaning: consternation and distress, typically that caused by something unexpected. (बेचैनी)
Synonyms: shock, surprise, consternation

- Indignation (noun)
Meaning: anger or annoyance provoked by what is perceived as unfair treatment. (रोष)

Meaning: a person who renounces a religious or political belief or principle. (स्वधर्मत्यागी)

Antonyms: conformist, loyalist

- Indecency (noun)
Meaning: indecent behavior. (अभद्रता)
Synonyms: rudeness, coarseness, dirtiness

- Rebuff (verb)
Meaning: reject (someone or something) in an abrupt or ungracious manner. (हटाना)

- Deportation (noun)
Meaning: the action of deporting a foreigner from a country. (निर्वासन)

- Unnerve (verb)
Meaning: make (someone) lose courage or confidence. (असमर्थ करना)

- Fastidious (adj.)
Meaning: very attentive to and concerned about accuracy and detail. (दुराराध्य)
Synonyms: scrupulous, punctilious, assiduous
Antonyms: undemanding, unfastidious, unfussy
Sentence: Everything was planned in fastidious detail.
