World celebrating International Mother Earth Day

22 April is celebrated as Earth Day or International Mother Earth Day every year across the world to spread awareness about environmental issues such as pollution, global warming, deforestation and etc.

Earth Day is celebrated across the globe to highlight the issues the environment is facing and to come up with actions against the illness of the planet.

Theme of Earth Day 2023:

The theme of World Earth Day 2023 is “Invest in Our Planet”.

Google made creative doodle for Earth Day:

On Earth Day 2023, search engine giant Google changed its homepage with a leafy twist to its doodle for Earth Day and the green doodle has been made using real leaves.

The animated doodle demonstrates pencil sketches of various animals performing everyday green tasks to help the environment. The doodle also points a bunny rabbit and mouse planting and watering trees and a croaky frog enjoying its basketful of local produce.

Google wants to express by its leafy doodle about sustainable choices and fight climate change and highlight how individuals and communities can work together in big and small ways to take action against climate change.
